I had lost water in my lab…

The hot winds of August are like a roaring train

The blazing sun is really quite a pain.

But in the Lab, it is dry as dust

Somehow, the water pipes have bust

At least outside, it could rain…

Friday is my longest day,

The time drags on so long.

Because I can’t wait for Friday night

And get my ice cream on!

I love my job, I love my boss

They help me thrive and survive

But there is nothing they can do

To protect me from the 405

For baseball, I miss Willie Mays

For potato chips, please bring me Lay’s

Bring corn on the cob (once called maize)

For the holiday, let’s take off the next three days!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!

God Bless America and Those that Stand with Us!

I know that I have a year’s worth of poems to show you.  But due to popular demand, I will only be posting one a day until I catch up.  Then it will be once a week as I write them.

You’re welcome.

All good things must come to an end

He said, with shoulders drooping

The only thing good about two days off

Is the chance for spiritual regrouping…

Have a holly, jolly weekend.

It’s the best time of the week.

Going to the beach, is within reach.

There’ll be bikinis there…  (4/15/11)
