Traditional Feline Shanty
Early in the morning,
It’s time to go to work.
Sammy wants to sleep and play,
She thinks I am a jerk.
She loves to to eat those kitty treats,
I don’t get those for free.
Sometimes it is so hard to be
A kitty-dad like me.

Oh, purr, purr, purr, purr, purr, purr, purr
Bite, bite, bite, bite, bite.
If you want to rub a kitty’s tum,
You’re sure to get a fight.
Sammy loves the catnip,
And leaps so high, Ho ho!
Her eyes grow wide, but watch yourself,
She’ll land upon your toe.
Oh, purr, purr, purr, purr, purr, purr, purr
Bite, bite, bite, bite, bite.

You’re sure to get a fight.
