I ran all my errands in the pouring rain,

With the sky being dark as night.

Arriving home, I put the groceries away,

And see the sun is shining bright!

A Million Dollars

Give me a million dollars,

And I will go away.

Give me a million dollars,

And away from here I’ll stay.

Cuz I’m so very very tired,

Don’t want to work no more.

Give me a million dollars,

And watch me walk right out that door.

No more working for a boss,

Who doesn’t really care

If I live or die,

As long as he gets his share,

Of that money he makes off my back,

I’m working like a dog.

Give me that million dollars,

And get me out this fog.

If I had a million dollars,

I’d buy myself a car.

Don’t know where I’d go,

But I’d drive so very far

Away from here,

You won’t see me round no more.

Give me that million dollars,

I’m sick of being poor.

If I had that million dollars,

I’d get that tasty food,

You know that my sweet lady,

Would always be in the mood.

Having a million dollars,

Would be a brilliant scheme,

But I ain’t got a million dollars,

So I guess it’s all a dream.

I ain’t got a million dollars,

But I guess I still can dream.

But I didn’t have a rabbit.

Asked Sammy to go and catch us one,

She said, “Catch it yourself!”

Sammy and Daddy race up the stair,

Having only two legs, Daddy thinks it unfair.

That Sammy always wins, so to his despair,

Dad only gets to sit on the edge of the chair.

It was time for her yearly rabies shot,

So I had to take her to the vet.

It was toasty, dry, warm, comfy,

And included a furry, purry kitty!
