Shattered eggs against the wall,

A chilly breeze blows through the window,

Yesterday, we had hail, sleet and snow,

Insentience
I cannot wait,
To crawl into my bed.
And hopefully sleep,
The sleep of the dead.
Not sleep like a baby,
Who whines, wets and cries.
But instead like a corpse,
Who cannot open its eyes.
A sleep deep and dark,
Uninterrupted by dreams.
Where hours pass in a moment,
At least so it seems.
Beaten and bloodied by the day,
My soul torn asunder.
Please tuck me in deep,
Preferably six feet under.

Nothing makes Monday morning harder,

Then watching Sammy stretch and yawn,
