It’s a Rocky Road

Standard

When I woke up this morning,

It was from a terrible dream.

When I woke up this morning,

It was from an awful, wicked dream.

My Baby, she done left me,

And took all of her ice cream.

She took all of her sprinkles,

That made me laugh and act so merry.

She took all of her sprinkles,

Rainbow crunchies that made me merry.

I loved that woman so,

I even let her take my cherry.

Her whipped cream is just a memory,

Always tasted nice and sweet.

That whipped cream is just a memory,

Always tasted nice and sweet.

Don’t know if I’ll ever find,

Another tasty treat to eat.

I miss my little darling,

Two scoops of pure sashay.

I miss my little darling,

I’d give up two weeks’ pay.

Just to meet her in the kitchen,

For a banana split sundae.
