She kneads me like a lump of dough,
To halt her is quite the silly faux pas.
For ne’er would I ever wish to experience
A Christmas without Sammy’s claws…
Watching the rain fall from the sky,
Yet I’m inside safe, warm and dry.
And while our conditions are far apart,
A dark storm rages within my heart.
Time is flying faster than the wind,
Most of my years are now behind,
One regret causes my soul to burn,
I wish I had been more kind.
My Birthday is on Christmas,
That’s quite a double-whammy!
But I don’t need any fancy gifts,
Just want to snuggle with my Sammy.
Often unsure, but one thing I know,
As positive as a cation.
When Sammy and I play ribbon you see,
She turns into a mighty wild lion!
