The Cat Cave
The laundry is finally finished,
Now to fold it and lay it flat.
Till Sammy jumps upon the bed,
“I’m sorry, but you can’t do that.”

I Don’t Know Why
Sammy was quite intense this morning,
Playing with a rather large spider.
I tried to save the lonely arachnid,
But sadly, it was already inside her.

Should’ve Been Napping
I have a little kitten,
Who thinks I’m quite insane.
Like today when I went outside,
Into the pouring rain.

Almost Done
Looked around, there’s no one left,
To catch me when I fall.
Wouldn’t want to be rescued anyway,
I seem to have lost it all.

Uncomfortable
I love my little kitten,
She’s furry, soft and sweet.
But I do not like her tiny claws,
When she steps upon my feet.

Baby Steps
Thought I’d start with an alligator,
But surely I would get bitten.
Probably should work my way up,
I’ll begin by wrestling a kitten.

Entropic
All is lost and in disarray,
My existence is just a charade.
Things I think while dancing,
On the edge of a razor blade.

Guardian
I keep my kitten safe and sound,
From lightning and the thunder.
Though sometimes it is hard to tell,
Which blanket she is under.
