What Does A Nap Weigh?
To Sammy, I am a shining knight,
To her rescue with but a single yelp.
She was taking a rather heavy nap,
So I selflessly offered her all my help!

Perils In Moving
Trying to unpack boxes,
Which are filling all the spaces.
Sammy is not happy,
Seems she’s losing hiding places.

Changing of the Guard
To my young son, I was a superman,
Who handled everything with ease.
Now at 26, he steps in,
When my breath begin to wheeze.

Times Change
As an older man, I sit cold and alone,
My eyes lost in the rage of the storm.
Behind me at the table, my son and his girl,
Whisper, giggle and are warm.

Weekend Joys
Sammy and Daddy
Having lots of fun.
When they’re not playing ribbon,
They’re napping in the sun!

And We’re Back!
We moved across the country,
Hoping nevermore to roam.
Sammy really didn’t like it,
But now she feels at home.

Late Night Joy
My son came home to visit,
He’s Sammy’s big kahuna.
Since they’re both nocturnal,
She gets some Midnight Tuna.

Processors?
Everything is getting difficult,
Life will smack you in the hooter.
Tell me why it is so darn hard,
To buy a new computer?
