Winter Uncertainty
Days are dark and gloomy,
A bitter chill permeates the air.
Sammy and I now ponder,
Stay in bed or move to our chair?

Sammy and Daddy,
Sneaking down the stair.

Imagine our dismay,

To discover that Christmas,

She knows I am a bonehead,
She’s got me feeling like a turkey.
Turned my back for just a second,
And Sammy stole all of my beef jerky.
That cat is smarter than me,
And everybody knows.
