Holiday traditions are a thing of joy,
Family, friends and love give me the jollies.
However this Christmas leaves me a bit sad,
For I have no homemade tamales!

Christmas is still fairly far away,
Yet Sam and I are getting our jollies.
Even as Thanksgiving Dinner looms,
We are eating homemade tamales!
