Holidays spread joy and love,
Though my depression is in overdrive.
Here we are just five days in,
And I am still alive.

2018 is a brand spanking new year,

Just mind Ol’ Uncle Ernie who said,
Another day older and deeper in debt!

Planning my New Year’s party now,

Ice Cream, Stat!
Straight from the oven, it’s piping hot.
With speed so fast, I would shame a cheetah,
Molten cheese fuses to the roof of my mouth.
There’s nothing worse than a sneaky pizza!
