I wanted Sammy to get out of my chair,
Yet she sat, unmoved by my wiles and charms.
So I picked her up, to claim my seat,
And she snuggled down, asleep in my arms.

It’s Saturday night and I just got paid,
How I love living in the big city.
Theatre, concerts, an endless parade!
I spent the night brushing my kitty.
