Better Than a Heating Pad
Stomping around in a foot of snow,
Did a number on my old trick knee.
So I laid down to stretch it out,
And Sammy took a nap on me.

I Found Out
Whomever wrote, “Like kittens in the snow,”
Must have thought it a fantastic bit.
So I took Sammy outside to play,
My wounds prove she did not like it.

Sammy seems a bit confused,

You see, I laid down on the couch,
Not on my recliner so I am out of place.

She leaps from the top rope of my dresser,
