Blebs
In class, cells seem such simple things,
Yet in the brain, they might cause psychosis.
All I know, is that if I was a cell,
I couldn’t wait for apoptosis.

Sundae!
Looked in the mirror this morning,
Much less hair and many more wrinkles.
Enough to drive a man into the darkness.
Not me though, I have ice cream, with sprinkles!

Seems I’m getting older and
My life creeps toward its end.

Rough Day
I’ve tried to be a decent person,
Working hard to show how much I care.
Yet here I stand, all naked and alone,
Guess I ain’t going nowhere.

Under my breath, I was humming “Volare.”

People you’ve known forever can seem to change,
Hard not to in these fast-moving, trying times.
My brother is attempting to monetize his poems,
Man, he used to be all about the rhymes…

Wild Llamas (TWH 2)
Wish I had a herd of guanacos,
So I could make some tasty tacos.
Or maybe they would make a grand tostada,
Unless I add them to a frittata.
