Wild Llamas (TWH 2)
Wish I had a herd of guanacos,
So I could make some tasty tacos.
Or maybe they would make a grand tostada,
Unless I add them to a frittata.

Trying to Write while Hungry (TWH)
I love my kitten lots and lots.
I love her more than tater tots!
I love my kitten, yes I do!
I would never, ever put her in the stew.

Sammy to the Rescue!
Hurricanes, politics, hatred and war,
Every day of our lives are filled with struggles.
And whenever I am feeling overwhelmed,
I can always depend on kitten snuggles.

The Midnight Hour
Self-doubt and depression come out at night,
The unspeakable pain which people fear.
Inside my head, I am safe and warm,
For it is very dark in here.

Morning Mantra
Lazing about on a cool, crisp morn,
Gazing at skies of azure blue.
A cool breeze stirs and disturbs my dream,
I don’t want to go to work, would you?

Swinging and Swaying
Gyrating like “Elvis the Pelvis” on stage,
Doing my famous Happy Friday Dance.
Don’t you wish you could be here watching,
Because I’m not wearing any pants!

Gas in the Tank
The day is going to be a difficult one,
It requires the kind of energy that will last.
To ensure my endurance is up to snuff,
I’ll have tacos with hot sauce for my breakfast!

Winter in Manitoba (5 AM)
Their puppy woke me up for his nature’s call,
Outside a passing bus slowed down to stare,
Not at the pretty puppy, but most likely at me,
Dressed in only snow boots and underwear…
