Folks were talking, as they always do,
Nothing serious, just some mindless chitchat.
Elvira, they said should be displayed in a museum,
Man, I’d curate the Hell out of that!

Simplifying my life gets confusing for my friends,
Wondering if I will go, or if I will stay.
Believing I intend to commit suicide, because
I am giving all my cherished stuff away…

Shoulda Had Tacos
Went to the kitchen for some salsa,
Came back to make a tasty tostada.
But Sammy had run off to the Ramada,
With every bit of my carne asada!

Blebs
In class, cells seem such simple things,
Yet in the brain, they might cause psychosis.
All I know, is that if I was a cell,
I couldn’t wait for apoptosis.

I tried to think of happier thoughts,

They couldn’t compete with the sheer delight,
Of Sammy chomping on alligator bones.

This beauty had me ready for safari!
As I was closing in, I stopped because,
Under my breath, I was humming “Volare.”
